Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree in mechanical, civil or chemical engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 15 years in related engineering work in nuclear or power-generation industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expert technical support for turbine equipment.
• Oversee maintenance strategies and asset management plans to improve reliability.
• Support large steam turbine retrofits and project work.
• Review specifications, modification packages, and testing for quality.
• Provide onsite field support during inspections, repairs and testing.
• Develop and review test procedures to ensure equipment functionality.
• Interface with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Participate in site thermal performance monitoring to optimize plant output.
• Provide general engineering support for mechanical power plant equipment.
• Qualify for site emergency response and comply with DOE 10 CFR 810.
