Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Project Manager for nuclear engineering services to lead mid-to-senior projects, including studies, plant modifications and EPU efforts. You will coordinate design review, cost estimates, and proposal support while guiding EPC and service teams.

This role emphasizes safety culture, client satisfaction, and timely delivery. You will manage multiple projects, interface with engineers, construction managers, and client management to ensure adherence to standards

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience with increasing responsibility.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering services or EPC Project Management.
• Experience with Nuclear power projects, especially plant modifications using the industry Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-001).
• Strong electrical engineering background in power generation facilities, including generator/transformer upgrade projects.

Responsibilities

• Actively promotes nuclear and industrial safety culture.
• Oversees planning, developing, and tracking of Services and/or EPC projects including areas of execution performance, financial metrics, schedule adherence, quality outcomes, contractual compliance, safety performance, and client satisfaction.
• Manages all aspects of proposals and opportunity pursuits for small to medium EPC/Service projects.
• Works with Discipline Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and Construction Managers to execute projects to a high standard commensurate with the nuclear industry.
• Manages escalated problems or issues.
• Manage multiple projects and interface with client management, supervisors, and engineering staff at all stages of project development and execution.
