Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for Nuclear Power to lead design efforts, provide technical guidance, and deliver electrical deliverables for operating nuclear facilities. You will develop diagrams, BOMs, and perform complex calculations (load flow, short circuit, arc flash) using ETAP/SKM and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Willingness to relocate to designated US locations like Overland Park, KS or regional offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on design guides, standards, and engineering practices.
• Perform complex engineering calculations and manage project budgets/schedules.
• Develop design packages, BOMs, and electrical drawings for procurement and construction.
• Coordinate with clients, interface with site teams, and attend on-site meetings.
• Utilize ETAP/SKM, AutoCAD, and ProjectWise for drawings and analyses.
