Job summary

Nordson is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to define, design, test, document, and release new products for Nordson Electronic Solutions. You will ensure safety, regulatory, and quality standards while delivering on-time, cost-targeted products that meet customer needs.

You will collaborate with Mechanical and Software teams, support manufacturing and beta test builds, participate in VOC discussions, and drive robust, manufacturable designs across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS Electrical Engineering degree plus 4 - 7 years of experience.
• Altium designer experience or equivalent is required.
• Experience with sensors, measuring devices, control systems, and automation is preferred.
• Phase-gate & project management experience is preferred.
• Experience developing & launching new products is a plus.
• Experience with customer interactions and factory visits is a plus.
• Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system, SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering principles to designs meeting all product requirements.
• Designs electrical aspects including systems for fluid applicators & automation.
• Develops and executes test plans proving safety, regulatory and quality compliance.
• Follows phase-gate process, planning and milestones on-time with quality.
• Collaborates with Mechanical and Software to integrate designs.
• Works with product line management to develop and review specifications.
• Partners with Operations for manufacturability and prototype builds.
• Supports VOC discussions with customers as required.
