Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. is seeking a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer with at least five years of experience to join our Fort Worth team.

You will design electrical power, lighting, and communications systems for new and renovated facilities, guiding a multi-disciplinary group to deliver complete design packages. The role requires PE licensure, a BSEE, and the ability to obtain security clearance for federal projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Security clearance and Federal Government base access requirements.
Proficiency with NEC/NFPA 101 and energy standards.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit BIM preferred.

Responsibilities

Design electrical and interior/exterior lighting systems for new and renovated facilities.
Prepare design documents, plans and specifications.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to achieve project goals.
Perform load calculations and lighting layouts.
Review submittals, conduct site visits, and prepare punch lists.
