Job summary

RWB Consulting Engineers in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 0-5 years of experience for a full-time role based in our Fort Worth office. You will design electrical power, lighting, and special systems for education, municipal, office, and commercial buildings.

You will work on a design team with engineers and interact with clients. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP is required; EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial buildings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Ability to identify applicable codes in project jurisdictions.
• EIT or pursuing it preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical production drawings from start to finish, including redlines and submittals.
• Design electrical power, lighting and special systems for education, municipal, office, medical and other facilities.
• Collaborate with a design team and interface with clients during meetings.
