Job summary

Nova Space Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for COSMIC projects. You will plan, develop, and monitor electrical systems from concept through construction, including 115kV to 480V distribution, grounding, and lighting protections.

You will also mentor engineers and coordinate with multi‑discipline teams. The role requires 8+ years of electrical design experience, PE licensure in MS/LA or the ability to obtain within a year, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; ABET accreditation required.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience; MS degree may substitute.
• Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, IBC, ICC, IECC, LEED standards and codes.
• Experience with electrical design, calculations, and construction support.
• PE licensure in MS/LA or ability to obtain within 1 year; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for facilities and site utilities (115Kv to 480V).
• Design and integrate PLC control and instrumentation systems for mission-critical apps.
• Prepare plans/specs with project team; conduct cost estimates.
• Review vendor submittals, RFIs, and change orders; ensure safety compliance.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to discipline engineers.
