Job summary

SpaceXAI in Mississippi is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and activate power systems for advanced facilities and data centers. You will work with MEP engineers, trade partners, and internal customers to deliver reliable electrical infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, multi-project management, and clear communication to share technical details with teammates. PE license and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience on electrical projects, power distribution, switchgear, UPSs, and/or generators.
• PE license preferred or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, lighting, grounding, and monitoring.
• Support facility technicians in troubleshooting electrical equipment and controllers.
• Ensure interfaces with mechanical systems and compliance with codes and budgets.
• Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with utilities and internal teams.
• Apply NFPA, NEC, and IBC standards during design and review.
