Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer within the facilities engineering team to design, build, and activate advanced power systems for critical infrastructure projects. You will lead a team of electrical engineers, oversee electrical distribution, UPS units, generators, and controls, and coordinate with MEP trades to deliver reliable, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience on electrical projects, power distribution, switches, UPS, and/or generators.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical engineers delivering detailed electrical designs and specifications for power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and data/phone wiring.
• Provide electrical engineering support to facility technicians for troubleshooting existing equipment and controllers.
• Ensure interfaces between electrical and mechanical systems and compliance with codes and budgets.
• Coordinate electrical installations with local utilities and ensure NFPA/NEC/IBC compliance and code reviews.
