Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited university in engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of related electrical design experience; Master’s may substitute.
• Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, IBC, ICC, IECC, LEED standards.
• Proficiency with listed software for design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for new facilities or modifications.
• Design PLC control and instrumentation for mission-critical apps.
• Prepare plans/specs with project teams for construction packages.
• Perform analyses and calculations using engineering software.
• Review vendor submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Provide oversight and mentorship within the discipline.
• Monitor design progress and report costs weekly.
• Assist staffing decisions and proposal cost estimates.
