Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer / Superintendent – Electrical Process Equipment SME to provide technical leadership for critical electrical process equipment across mining and mineral processing operations.

You will lead reliability initiatives, asset management programs, troubleshooting efforts, and capital project execution. The role includes mentoring engineers and ensuring safe, reliable operation with hands-on commissioning support and turnover activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 7+ years of experience.
Or High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years in electrical maintenance, reliability, commissioning, asset management, or leadership roles.
Experience with heavy industrial or mining process equipment and reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for electrical process equipment reliability, asset management, maintenance strategy, and lifecycle planning.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analyses; analyze fault logs and test data.
Provide technical leadership for upgrades, outages, and capital projects; develop scopes and specifications.
Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup support, and turnover activities; develop technical standards.
Mentor engineers, electricians, technicians, and reliability personnel; drive safety, reliability, and operational performance improvements.
