Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Project Engineer to support a major mining infrastructure project in Colorado. You will partner with engineering leadership, project teams, consultants, and contractors to oversee detailed engineering activities, coordinate field support, and help deliver critical objectives safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, rigorous attention to design integrity, and timely execution to meet project milestones on site in Denver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, geotechnical or related field with 3–5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience supporting project engineering, construction, infrastructure, or geotechnical projects; mining exposure preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, development, and execution of engineering projects and programs.
• Coordinate engineering consultants through detailed design and field support activities.
• Review engineering studies, designs, reports, and technical recommendations.
• Evaluate contracts for engineering services, equipment, and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance to project stakeholders and site leadership.
• Assist with project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and progress tracking.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with project standards.
