Job summary

Metrology Systems in Fremont, CA is seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to develop metrology systems for semiconductor processing equipment. You will design low-noise analog, mixed-signal, and digital control electronics, and lead PCB bring-up from concept through release.

Qualifications

• Experience developing electrical hardware from prototype through integration, validation, and release.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Strong written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design low-noise analog, mixed-signal, and digital control electronics.
• Develop custom PCBs from concept through schematic design and release.
• Define electrical architecture and produce drawings, BOMs, and test docs.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes and production-intent systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to juniors.
