Job summary

You will design low-noise analog, mixed-signal electronics and integrate power, motion, temperature controls, optical metrology, safety circuits, and sensors. The role requires ownership from prototype to release and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BSEE or related field with 7+ years; or MSEE with 5+ years or equivalent.
• Experience developing electrical hardware from prototype through integration, validation, and release.
• Expertise in at least one area such as low-noise analog, mixed-signal electronics, embedded controls, precision instrumentation, industrial controls, motion, thermal control, or power systems.
• Experience with board-level circuit design, PCB bring-up, laboratory testing, and hardware debugging.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to produce electrical drawings, design documentation, and test reports.
• Strong written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design low-noise analog, mixed-signal, and digital control electronics.
• Develop custom PCBs from concept to bring-up and release.
• Integrate power supplies, motion and temperature controls, optical metrology instruments, safety circuits, and sensors.
• Define electrical architecture and produce schematics, wiring drawings, and BOMs.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes and production-intent systems.
• Diagnose issues across electrical hardware, firmware, software, optics, motion, and interfaces.
• Develop firmware, HDL, scripts, drivers, and APIs for device control and testing.
• Select components and suppliers based on performance, reliability, and cost.
• Own systems from prototype to release, manufacturing support, and failure analysis.
• Communicate risks and progress in design reviews and project execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to juniors.
