Job summary

Onto Innovation seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to sustain released Metrology products, drive new designs, and lead upgrades impacting manufacturing and service environments. You will select components, maintain BOMs and revise schematics using AutoCAD, Orcad, and Visio as part of a cross-functional team.

The role requires 5+ years in development/manufacturing, knowledge of power distribution for industrial systems, and familiarity with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of related work experience in development and manufacturing engineering environments.
• Experience with Orcad and PCB design is essential.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA-79, SEMI, Copy Exactly, UL508 and IEC/EN safety standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Designs electrical/electronic/electro-mechanical solutions for released products.
• Engineering support across product lifecycle and manufacturing environments.
• Develops fixtures and test procedures to support critical part performance.
• Maintains BOMs and updates electrical schematics and assemblies.
