Job summary

Innovate Consulting seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and analysis of electrical infrastructure for commercial, healthcare, industrial, and mixed‑use facilities. You will develop power distribution schemes, lighting designs, and low‑voltage systems while coordinating with architects, contractors, and clients through all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for MEP/building systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, building codes and standards (NFPA, IBC).
• Experience designing systems for commercial, healthcare, industrial, educational, hospitality, or mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects, including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage infrastructure.
• Prepare electrical calculations including load and short-circuit analyses.
• Develop construction documents, specifications, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and technical reports.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines.
