Job summary

Quest Medical Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead sustaining production and guide complex electrical/electromechanical projects in a regulated medical device environment.

You will own system-level electrical performance across manufacturing, test, field issues, and product changes, mentoring engineers and technicians along the way. The ideal candidate balances strategic project execution with hands-on troubleshooting, ensuring safe, compliant operation of electrical subsystems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• Experience leading projects independently in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical/electromechanical systems and fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical and electromechanical system design and sustainment across production and testing.
• Lead medium to large cross-functional projects with defined scope, schedule, and risks.
• Provide day-to-day production support for electrical failures and test issues with urgency.
• Conduct root-cause investigations and implement robust corrective actions.
• Manage ECOs including impact assessment, validation support, and implementation.
• Develop and approve test methods and LabVIEW-based automated tests.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Field Service to resolve non-conformances.
• Participate in design reviews for NPI and sustaining products, focusing on manufacturability and serviceability.
