Job summary

R2 Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and development of advanced medical devices. The role spans concept to product release with emphasis on robust hardware and firmware integration, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

The successful candidate will work on complex electro-mechanical systems, perform design verification, and mentor junior engineers while supporting supplier interactions and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in research and development of electronic systems for complex electro-mechanical medical products.
• Strong understanding of medical device development methodologies and product development processes.
• Experience with PCB design and electronics manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and development for complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Design schematics, simulate concepts, and evaluate feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, MDR, ISO and safety standards; lead verification strategies.
