Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Engineer I (Electrical) – Product Development to guide the Imaging and Resection team through concept-to-launch of a high-potential electro-mechanical medical device.

You will own the electrical architecture and collaborate with cross-functional teams to disrupt markets and improve patient outcomes. The role requires leadership of electrical design activities, advanced PCB work, and hands-on development, with potential travel for trade shows and customer sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional engineering experience in electrical product development.
• Experience with medical device development is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory documentation and design controls.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical sub-systems and refine products to meet manufacturing needs.
• Lead electrical design for new product teams within scope and budget.
• Prepare design history files per Arthrex design control procedures.
• Provide electrical support to Regulatory, Marketing, and Product Management.
• Support manufacturing with process improvements.
• Assist training for surgeons and distributors on electrical aspects.
• Oversee electrical testing planning and execution.
• Report progress and risks to management.
• Travel as needed for trade shows and accounts.
