Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Engineer I (Mechanical) – Product Development to support the Fluid Management team. Responsible for full lifecycle development of medical devices, from initiation to maintenance, to help surgeons treat patients better.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, adhering to schedules and budgets, and providing regulatory and technical support across disciplines in a global medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FDA and ISO guidelines for medical devices.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and design optimization.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD; SolidWorks/Creo preferred.
• Project management and communication skills training preferred.
• Working knowledge of orthopedic anatomy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design components or systems and modify designs to improve products and manufacturing.
• Lead multifunctional new product teams through feasibility, initiation, planning, and execution.
• Maintain design history file per Arthrex procedures.
• Provide Regulatory support for assigned projects as needed.
• Support Marketing/PM with technical information for training and marketing.
