Job summary

Accuray Incorporated is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and support electronic circuits for advanced radiotherapy systems. You will develop schematics, select components, and verify designs through testing and analysis.

The role involves FPGA firmware work, hardware/software debugging, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and patient safety. Ideal candidates hold a B.E.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years industry experience.
  • Proficiency with PCB design and digital circuit development (analog a plus).
  • Experience with FPGA development or HDL (VHDL/Verilog).
  • Hands-on experience with electronics debugging and lab instrumentation.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot hardware/firmware issues.

Responsibilities

  • Research, plan, design, and develop electronic circuit designs per product requirements.
  • Design and develop electrical schematics and documentation (PCB guidance).
  • Select and qualify components based on performance, cost, and lifecycle.
  • Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and validation testing.
  • Support prototype debugging and verification activities.
  • Develop and maintain low-level FPGA firmware; microcontroller knowledge is a plus.
  • Debug hardware/software interactions using lab tools.
  • Integrate circuit boards and firmware into larger system architectures.
  • Diagnose cross-functional issues across hardware, firmware, and system performance.
  • Support design changes (ECR/ECO) with impact assessment and verification.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to improve DFM/DFT.
  • Create and maintain design documentation and requirements.
