Job summary

Accuray Incorporated seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain software for a state-of-the-art radiation therapy medical device. You will design, implement, and test software that supports the device lifecycle, working with hardware and other software teams to ensure safe and effective patient treatments.

You will drive design decisions, write robust code, and contribute to verification, validation, and documentation.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java or C++.
• Experience with simulators and scaffolding for testing interoperability with third-party system specifications.
• Experience with object-oriented analysis & design, including design patterns and client/server architecture; strong communication and teamwork.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software that supports the lifecycle of a complex radiation therapy medical device.
• Write high-quality, reliable code and implement automated tests to validate functionality.
• Contribute to software design and architecture and document decisions.
