Job summary

Henderson Engineers in the United States seeks a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex, multidisciplinary electrical design from concept through completion for large-scale projects. You will guide design documents, layouts, drawings, schematics, and specifications while mentoring teams of designers and engineers.

You’ll collaborate with clients, oversee quality reviews, and contribute to business development while ensuring compliance with codes and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field required
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required for EORs (must at least be pursuing PE)
• Advanced to expert proficiency in electrical engineering design, applicable codes and standards, Revit, Bluebeam, and construction processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead discipline coordination and manage complex or large-scale project scopes

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for complex or large-scale projects
• Direct or oversee the preparation of design documents, system layouts, drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Develop solutions to advanced engineering problems and provide discipline-wide technical guidance
• Mentor and coach across teams, supervising junior designers and engineers
• Participate in staffing, training, and technical strategy development
• Provide quality oversight and final reviews to ensure standards compliance
• Communicate with clients, resolve conflicts, and address design challenges
• Lead or support strategic business development and maintain client relationships
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned and ensure technical accuracy
