Roboticsconnected seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to translate product requirements into robust EE architecture and PCB designs in Rochester, NY and Mountain View, CA. You will own LiDAR sub-systems from schematic through bring-up, working with cross-functional teams to ensure correct function and layout.

You will optimize HW and SW interfaces for cost, power, and performance, and lead a small hardware team while mentoring colleagues.

Competenze

BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
6+ years experience in HW design from architecture to implementation and bring-up into high volume production.
Deep understanding of HW components, interfaces and SW controls.
Proficiency in high-speed designs with I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCIe, etc.
Experience with data acquisition subsystems including high-speed ADCs and precision analog paths.
Experience with commercial SI/PI software tools.
Released several complex, multi-layer PCB designs into high volume production.
Able to work closely with other EE engineers and groups; capable of leading a small HW team.
Nice to have LiDAR design or automotive product development experience; motion control is a plus.
