Job summary

Lyte in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own electrical designs from concept through production, spanning power, motor control, sensing, and mixed-signal electronics for a robotics platform.

You will generate schematics and bring-up power, digital and mixed-signal PCBs, including MLBs and interface boards for high-speed connections to NVIDIA Jetson and Thor platforms, while collaborating across teams to address performance, cost, safety, and reliability challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related with 8+ years experience.
• Proficiency with Altium 365, Cadence Orcad/Allegro and Arena PLM.
• Expert in SoCs, camera sensors, power management architectures and high-speed interfaces.
• Drive cost optimization, design for test, design for manufacturability and endurance maximization.
• PCB PDN layout and system timing with silicon/package/board impairments.
• Lab measurements and SI correlations using scopes, spectrum analyzer, VNA and TDR.
• Fluent English and ability to travel internationally.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical designs from concept through production for robotics platform (power, motor control, sensing, mixed-signal).
• Generate schematics/layouts and bring-up PCBs including MLBs, control boards, and test boards interfacing to NVIDIA Jetson and Thor platforms.
• Collaborate across teams on architecture, production, compliance and system integration.
• Design for volume manufacturing and support manufacturing from prototyping to product launch.
• Develop engineering test plans and methodologies for in-circuit and functional testing.
• Validate power and signal integrity in lab settings and propose corrective actions.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently to ensure timely completion.
