Job summary

DLR Group, a global integrated design firm, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems from schematics through construction administration for diverse building types.

You will collaborate across disciplines, prepare detailed drawings, engage in site surveys, and mentor emerging engineers while leading project teams in a collaborative, sustainability-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
• Licensed professional engineer with 10+ years’ experience.
• Experience designing power, lighting, and low voltage systems.
• Proficient with BIM and Revit MEP.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of electrical systems from schematics through construction administration.
• Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Prepare engineering calculations, layouts, reports, and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Lead project teams and manage workloads; mentor junior engineers.
