Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Jackson, MS team. The ideal candidate holds a PE license and 8+ years of progressive electrical design experience, including power distribution, lighting, life safety, and telecommunications systems.

You will mentor the design staff and lead technical guidance across private, public, and federal projects, coordinating with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams to deliver high-quality services on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 8+ years of technical experience in electrical design with oversight on multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, life safety, and telecommunications systems.
• Ability to provide quality oversight, technical guidance, and training for design staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and training to the design team.
• Lead projects involving private, public, and federal clients within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver full-range electrical design services.
• Act as Engineer of Record and interface with code officials and contractors.
