Job summary

Dewberry is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our Jackson, MS office. You will contribute to power distribution projects, model systems, and prepare calculations and reports under the guidance of senior engineers.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, has 0–4 years of experience, and demonstrates strong communication skills with proficiency in MS Word/Excel. A valid driver’s license is required, and travel to client sites may be necessary. EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
  • 0-4 years of experience.
  • EIT preferred.
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines.
  • Travel to customer facilities to gather information on power distribution components and topology.
  • Model power distribution systems using computer software, prepare electrical engineering calculations and reports.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
