Job summary

Dewberry's New York, NY office is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to lead complex electrical systems design for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

The role combines technical leadership with project management, client interfacing, and mentoring of junior staff, driving projects from concept through construction, including coordination across multiple disciplines and BIM workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
10-15+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and construction support.
Professional Engineer license in NY/NJ is required.
Depth of knowledge of NY City, NY State, and national codes and standards.
Senior project-level engineer with electrical PM experience.
Experience designing medium/low voltage power distribution (480V-15kV) and lighting systems.
Experience with Con Edison and other electric utilities.

Responsibilities

Lead design and delivery of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Mentor junior engineering staff and interface with clients.
Drive projects from concept through construction with quality control.
