Job summary

Roeslein & Associates is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to research, develop, design, and test electrical systems for industrial manufacturing and energy projects. This role serves as a technical resource and leads electrical design from concept through startup.

The position requires leading project teams, coordinating with engineering, estimating, and construction, and delivering high-quality electrical solutions while adhering to safety and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial environments.
• Experience designing industrial power, controls, and automation systems.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety requirements.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, startup activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical equipment, systems, and facilities for industrial applications including power distribution and controls.
• Prepare and review electrical designs per company standards and codes.
• Design heat trace systems using isometrics and create Bills of Materials.
• Develop industrial communication networks and coordinate equipment selection.
• Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and technicians on projects.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to support project execution and quality.
• Travel domestically and internationally 10-20% annually for installation, commissioning, and startup.
