Job summary

Roeslein & Associates is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to research, develop, design, and test electrical systems for industrial and renewable energy projects. The role serves as a technical resource and leads electrical design from concept through installation and startup.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of compliant, high-quality electrical solutions across globe projects. Expect domestic and international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial manufacturing, energy, or related environments.
• Experience designing industrial power, controls, and automation systems.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Experience supporting installation, commissioning, and startup activities.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical equipment, systems, and facilities for industrial applications (power distribution, controls, motors, conveyance, safety).
• Prepare and review electrical designs per company standards and project requirements.
• Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and technicians on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project execution and estimates.
• Serve as primary electrical resource during installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Travel 10–20% annually to support project installation and startup.
