Job summary
HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the Electrical Group within the Building Engineering Services Group. You will guide design teams, coordinate multi-disciplinary work, and ensure on-time contract documents while managing budgets and maintaining client relationships.
Ideal candidates have a PE license, 10+ years in electrical design for buildings, and strong skills in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with electrical emphasis.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design teams for multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate work of Electrical Engineers with multi-disciplined team during development and construction.
- Track project workload and ensure documents are completed on schedule.
- Monitor budget and adjust work effort to meet financial targets.
- Conduct schematic, design development and contract document sessions with clients.
