Job summary

Miller-Remick is a full-service MEP engineering firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead on multiple capital projects ranging from $5M to $100M with a healthcare focus. The role requires mentoring junior staff and delivering complex work with minimal oversight, potentially located anywhere in the United States.

Our client base includes federal, state, and local agencies, with projects across hospitals, laboratories, courthouses, and critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for MEP/building systems projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and coordination of projects from concept through construction administration.
• Develop electrical construction documents for power, lighting, grounding, and emergency systems.
• Create single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical room layouts.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, arc flash studies, and equipment sizing.
• Coordinate systems with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and civil teams.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting staff.
