Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to lead project management for healthcare and related MEP building projects. You will guide electrical design execution, budgets, schedules, client communications, and staff mentoring across design and construction phases.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in building design, a PE license, and strong knowledge of illumination standards, specs editing, and client relations. This role offers hybrid schedule and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required
• PE license required
• 7+ years in building design consulting industry

Responsibilities

• Manage projects as the point of contact for teams and clients
• Support proposal development and contract reviews
• Build project schedules with milestones and deadlines
• Oversee monthly billings and billing projections
• Ensure designs meet owner and IMEG standards and applicable codes
• Verify design milestones and quality control
• Collaborate with design staff across all design/construction phases
• Lead progress meetings and document outcomes
• Conduct construction site visits and provide documentation
• Respond to client concerns and manage change orders
• Mentor and develop staff while maintaining client relationships
