Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, development and qualification for multi-program efforts in aerospace and defense. You will drive robust hardware solutions, perform analyses, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and extensive experience with Altium, PSPICE/LTSPICE, and serial communications. The position is on site in the United States, with compliance and security obligations as a federal

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Significant experience in aerospace/defense/avionics.
Familiar with IPC and military specs.
Robust hardware design with qualification testing.
Proficient in circuit simulations (PSPICE, LTSPICE).
Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout and routing.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design, development, test and qualification of multi-disciplinary projects.
Ensure designs consider ESD/EMI and harsh environments.
Create and review complete electrical drawing packages for manufacturing, cost, quality.
Lead prototyping, hardware assembly and product qualification activities.
Perform circuit analyses and generate reports.
