Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to design and develop embedded hardware across diverse markets. You will own architectures, power budgets, schematics and PCBs from concept to production, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will participate in design reviews, bring-up, debug and verification, with occasional travel to customer sites. A focus on reliability and manufacturability is essential.

Qualifications

• Design and layout experience for embedded hardware including MCUs, processors and FPGAs
• Impedance-controlled high-speed channel design (10GbE, PCIe, etc.)
• Analog sensor interface design and power electronics topologies
• EMI/EMC and Signal Integrity analysis
• Lab debugging of PCB assemblies with test equipment

Responsibilities

• Design hardware architectures, power budgets, schematics and PCBs end-to-end
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for kickoffs or deliveries
• Bid and scope projects with account/project managers
• Deliver electronics designs from cradle to grave
