Job summary

AlfaTech is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to assist the Lead Project Engineer or Project Manager on a range of projects. You will provide high-level technical leadership, manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and represent the firm in client interactions.

The role may include small-to-medium project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience in electrical design, is proficient in Revit and BIM 360, and holds a PE Certification with LEED

Qualifications

8–10 years of relevant experience in design.
Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical design using latest engineering software.
Size overcurrent protection and feeder sizes; perform voltage drop and short-circuit calculations.
Design EPSS and standby power systems per NEC Article 700–702.
Ensure Title 24 compliance using EnergyPro and related tools.
Lead project milestones, budgets, and schedules; coordinate with clients and team.
Develop basis of design narratives and review shop drawings for contract conformance.
