Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in healthcare, mission-critical, or commercial building projects
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, and electrical design/calculation tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, multitask, and build trust across teams

Responsibilities

• Design and manage electrical systems, including distribution, backup power, lighting, grounding, and communications
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and peer reviews
• Perform system studies such as load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash analyses
• Review vendor drawings and submittals, oversee installations, and ensure successful commissioning
• Work collaboratively with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and architectural teams
• Contribute to project planning, cost management, and risk assessments
• Support business development and proposal efforts with technical insight
