Job summary

Pro Staff in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design of automated test and measurement systems. You will own hardware design, develop specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex projects for global customers. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical or related field, 5+ years hardware design experience, LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, or C#.

Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder for ITAR projects; travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

5+ years hardware design, test engineering, or related experience.
Experience with automated test systems and measurement technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support custom electrical engineering solutions.
Gather requirements and create technical specifications, statements of work, and bills of materials.
Lead hardware system design, testing, prototyping, and deployment activities.
Manage engineering project milestones and technical deliverables.
Collaborate with engineering teams, manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Support domestic and international projects with occasional travel (up to 25%).
