Pro Staff in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design of automated test and measurement systems. You will own hardware design, develop specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex projects for global customers. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical or related field, 5+ years hardware design experience, LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, or C#.

Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder for ITAR projects; travel up to 25% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams, manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support domestic and international projects with occasional travel (up to 25%).

Pay Rate: $75.00 - $90.00/hr (Based on Experience)

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and support custom electrical engineering solutions
• Gather requirements and create technical specifications, statements of work, and bills of materials
• Lead hardware system design, testing, prototyping, and deployment activities
• Manage engineering project milestones and technical deliverables
• Collaborate with engineering teams, manufacturers, suppliers, and customers

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of hardware systems design, test engineering, or related electrical engineering experience
• Experience with automated test systems and measurement technologies
• Knowledge of LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, or C#
• Ability to work on ITAR-regulated projects (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder)
