Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Wilson, NC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on developing, testing, and maintaining electrical components, equipment, and control systems for the plant.

You will design hardware and wiring diagrams, develop PLC-based control software and HMIs, and lead projects from conception through commissioning while coordinating with maintenance and production teams in a high-volume tire manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical controls in a plant environment is required.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement electrical components and systems for plant operations.
• Design hardware assemblies and wiring diagrams for control and data acquisition.
• Develop and program PLC-based control systems and HMIs.
• Lead projects through design, fabrication, testing, commissioning, and operation.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production, and other engineering disciplines.
