Job summary

DLR Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems from schematics to construction administration across diverse building types. You will collaborate with integrated design teams to develop power and lighting solutions and deliver detailed drawings and calculations.

The candidate will lead project teams, mentor emerging engineers, and coordinate with architecture and MEP disciplines on large, complex projects, while leveraging BIM Revit MEP to optimize designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience designing power and lighting.
• Experience with consulting engineering or A/E firm on power, lighting, and low voltage systems.
• Experience with BIM, specifically Revit MEP.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Lead project teams and mentor emerging engineers.
