Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across a range of projects in Hawaii. You will coordinate with other disciplines, mentor staff, and ensure technical excellence and client satisfaction.

You will balance hands-on project delivery with leadership, contribute to standards, and help grow Stantec's Buildings Engineering presence in Hawaii. A PE license or progress toward licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent experience.
• PE license required or actively pursuing licensure with intent to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design delivery from planning through construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Develop and review electrical models/drawings using CAD, Revit, and BIM workflows.
• Mentor junior staff and support workload planning and resource coordination.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and applicable building codes in Hawaii.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget inputs with project managers.
