Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Strong technical, analytical, planning and communication skills.
• Experience in hand-held electronic products and rechargeable battery systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead schematic capture, circuit simulations, and part selection for new designs.
• Develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit blocks for products.
• Perform root cause analysis on hardware failures or field issues.
• Define system-level electrical specifications with systems engineering.
• Lead design reviews and resolve critical technical issues.
• Oversee PCB layout and routing for performance, thermal, and EMI compliance.
• Establish verification plans and full test coverage for design validation.
• Mentor junior engineers in test methods, circuit analysis, and documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on test strategies and jigs.
• Track progress, update schedules, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Integrate new technology, including microcontrollers or power ICs.
• Write design documentation and test reports with justifications.
• Manage engineering build logistics including BOM reviews.
• Review and approve PCB/assembly changes; maintain libraries.
