Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, California, is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to advance high-precision analog/digital PCB design and signal processing for advanced semiconductor inspection systems.

You will lead design efforts, conduct analyses, and collaborate with Mechanical, Optical, Software, and Systems teams. Occasional travel up to 10% is required, with a focus on delivering robust, low-noise electronics that meet demanding performance targets.

Qualifications

• Self-driven, independent with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in analog/digital PCB design and validation.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (OrCAD, PSpice, LTSpice) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathering project requirements and feasibility studies.
• Project planning, cost estimation and scheduling.
• Analog and digital PCB design using CAD tools.
• Conducting circuit, noise, timing, thermal and electrical load analyses.
• Interface definitions with other subsystems.
• Design validation planning, testing and integration withFW/system.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Optical, Software, Systems and Manufacturing teams.
