Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, testing, and deployment of electrical power and instrumentation systems for next-generation clean metals production. The role demands hands-on builders who can turn rough requirements into fully engineered solutions with rigorous calculations and testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or process environments.
• Strong experience with electrical power systems sizing and calculations.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing electrical equipment and control systems.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and measurement devices.
• Proficiency in electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
• Ability to translate high-level needs into structured designs and implementation plans.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, testing, and lifecycle validation of electrical power components for metals processing systems.
• Develop electrical architectures and calculations to validate new apparatus and system solutions.
• Design and implement instrumentation and measurement systems to support process development.
• Create strategic engineering plans to design, build, test, and prove new electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Translate early-stage concepts into complete engineering projects and system designs.
• Lead hands-on electrical system builds, commissioning, and troubleshooting during development.
• Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and docs to support fabrication and operation.
• Coach and support early-career engineers in electrical design and testing.
