Phoenix Tailings seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, test, and deploy electrical power and instrumentation systems for sustainable metals production. Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial systems or power environments.
• Strong experience with electrical power systems, sizing, and calculations.
• Hands-on with designing, building, and testing electrical equipment and control systems.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and measurement devices.
• Proficiency in electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
• Ability to translate high-level technical needs into structured engineering designs.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, testing, and lifecycle validation of electrical power components in metals processing systems.
• Develop electrical architectures and calculations to validate new apparatus and system solutions.
• Design and implement instrumentation and measurement systems for process development and validation.
• Create strategic plans to design, build, test, and prove new electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Translate early-stage concepts into complete electrical engineering projects and system designs.
• Lead hands-on electrical system builds, commissioning, and troubleshooting during development.
• Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for fabrication, installation, operation.
• Coach and support early-career engineers in electrical design, testing, and practical engineering execution.
