Amrize Building Envelope seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical scope on large-scale projects and coordinate across internal teams, EPC partners, and inspectors. You will design and oversee MV/LV systems, control schemes, and commissioning activities to ensure successful startup.

The role requires extensive field experience, travel to sites, and a strong grasp of NEC/NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E. A PE license is a plus; relocation support is provided.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering.
• 10+ years of electrical/controls engineering experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Experience managing electrical contractors from rough-in through energization and startup.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, IEEE, NFPA 70E and building/construction codes.
• Willingness to travel to supplier sites and project locations (Alabama/remote sites).
• PE license is a plus; PMP certification is a plus.

Mansioni

• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and specifications for MV/LV systems and control systems.
• Direct on-site electrical contractors to ensure installation aligns with designs, schedules, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electrical codes and plant safety requirements.
• Manage electrical scopes using Procore for submittals, RFIs, and field updates.
• Develop and execute field inspection, testing, and commissioning procedures for electrical equipment.
• Serve as the primary electrical liaison between project managers, EPC partners, vendors, and inspectors.
• Design and layout plant electrical infrastructure including substations and grounding grids.
• Create plant process control schemes with PLC/PACs, SCADA/HMI integration.
