Job summary

AMG, Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the Electrical & Instrumentation Department. The role offers a leadership path with mentorship of junior engineers and collaboration with project managers and designers on industrial facilities and chemical processing projects.

You will review drawings, bid packages, and calculations, and occasionally perform field verifications to ensure project success. A PE license and multistate licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Senior Electrical Engineer with P.E. license and multis-state licensure.
• 5+ years of electrical design experience in industrial processing environments.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and power distribution, lighting, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for industrial facilities and process plants.
• Develop single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, cable schedules, and layouts.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee designers.
• Review drawings, bid packages, and calculations.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure project success.
