Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Supervising Discipline Engineer (Electrical) to lead the electrical engineering team on industrial projects of advanced complexity. You will ensure compliance with codes, guide the discipline across design phases, and manage budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in electrical engineering for industrial projects, 5+ years of supervisory experience, PE license, and strong NEC knowledge. Travel and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited college or university.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one in an assigned state.
Strong NEC knowledge and experience in electrical design for industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

Ensure engineering documents comply with state laws/regulations and seal when required.
Coordinate electrical discipline with other disciplines throughout the project.
Establish schedules and budgets to meet project requirements and obtain approvals.
Lead manpower, man-hour, and labor cost planning for a project and monitor budget impact.
Mentor and supervise electrical design team and support project engineering managers.
